Before we built this awesome little site, we had a hidden blog that we intended to make live one day. After a few posts, I completely forgot about it’s existence. Then, while searching for a piece to write about for this Throwback Thursday article, I remembered it was there. I opened it, took a look, and I found this little piece we wrote about a tablet we were playing with at the time (one that may see new life soon…). Without further adieu, here is a glimpse at our very first blog.
The screenshot above shows our second article. The first was about the emergence of apps for business, which was an idea that was just catching on at the time. The third, and last on that platform, was about Wacom’s new Inkling device, which allowed you to draw on paper and it would track your sketch and save it to an Illustrator or Photoshop compatible format. How about an excerpt from that first article, eh?
As we take a look around the modern mobile platforms, we notice that they all have one thing in common: Apps are king. From the iPhone to Android, Windows 7 to BlackBerry, interactivity and control put in the palm of the end-user’s hand is the future of technology. It’s the television remote all over again.
