How Many Websites Have You Built?

At the time of writing, Visceral Concepts has built a total of 15 websites for clients, some of which no longer exist, and some of which are waiting final approval. Including other positions throughout my career, I have completed some 150 websites.

Visceral Concepts has existed since 2011. For the first couple of years, it was run as a sort of part-time company as I worked a job. It existed at that time solely to make extra money when needed. It is only since 2013 that I have sought to make this company a focus and achieve the mission that we have laid out. In that short time, we have managed to amass a reasonable number of clients, averaging one website every three months among our other offerings.

In my career I have worked with several companies either building their websites, or delivering sites to their clients. On average I have turned out 3 websites per month for the past 5 years. Each site belonged to my respective employer in terms of portfolio, and it would be dishonest to include them in my client portfolio, hence why they are not listed. When the number of hobby websites I have built is also taken into account, the number of sites is over 200. Most of the hobby sites were built on GeoCities, and therefore no longer exist.

Take these numbers as you will, but no matter what, expect to see more websites (and other projects) turned out by Visceral Concepts in the coming months and years, as we have no plans for slowing down.

For the month of April we will be running our 30 Days of Answers series, where we answer 30 of the biggest questions people have for us before they do business with us. Tomorrow we’ll have another question and answer. See you then!
