Does having a website increase my company’s credibility?

Yes, a website will give your credibility a huge boost.

Have you ever gone to the internet to look up a company before you did business with them? Do you consider yourself an average consumer? Are you more or less likely to trust someone you know nothing about?

These questions should pretty well answer the credibility question. Most consumers won’t trust a company that they know nothing about. If you don’t have a site that people can use to check out your offerings, history, location, and even your staff before they come to visit you, they probably won’t visit.

The very idea that Google isn’t just a website, but also something that one can do should lend volumes to the idea that a website is integral to a company’s credibility. Remember, we live in a digital world. If your company isn’t on the web, it may as well not exist anywhere.

For the month of April we will be running our 30 Days of Answers series, where we answer 30 of the biggest questions people have for us before they do business with us. Tomorrow we’ll have another question and answer. See you then!
